Porto Katsiki is a beach at the west coast of the island of Lefkas,  is a beautiful location and the water is so crystal clear! It is definitely one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to.
Although i don’t recommend this beach to people with some movement problems or to 60+ ages. The stairs that you have to walk up and down are too many and they are exhausting even for some people  that are sporty! Also after the middle of June to the end of August the beach is sooooo crowded that is a bit annoying, some days of the summer it is impossible to lay on the beach.
There are many boats from Nidri that they do boat excursions around the islands and all of them advertise that they stop in Porto Katsiki beach as well. But that’s not completely truth, because after the middle of june they are not allowed by the port police to visit the beach because it’s really crowded. So they take you to another beach that is close to Porto Katsiki, that is very nice too! And it is not so crowded and maybe more enjoyable!

After all, porto katsiki beach is definitely a place to visit if you are in the area! 🙂
